Artist's Description
This commemorative image of the Statue of Liberty in New York City was taken over the Thanksgiving Holiday - just after 9/11. This was our family's first visit to NYC - planned well before the September 11, 2001 attack on our great country. We almost canceled our trip after 9/11 but decided the terrorists would not claim victory over our love of our country.
